Get ready for the Next Big Thing

BSidesLV 2014 will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 5th & 6th, at Tuscany Suites & Casino, 255 East Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV.

Unlike several years prior, where we offered pre-registration for a token refunded fee, this year, there will be no pre-reg. Badges will be offered days of show on a first-come, first-served, walk-in basis. You can secure a badge ahead of the conference in several ways: Become a donor, a speaker, a mentor, a sponsor, a volunteer, or get a room!

BSidesLV is one of the hottest names in InfoSec!

We have an amazing array of speakers each year, covering topics such as Penetration Testing, Forensics, Incident Response, Risk, and everything in between. We have a Lockpick Village, the Squirrels in a Barrel World Championship Social Engineering Capture The Flag, uncensored talks, and proximity to the other big InfoSec conferences in the world.

BSidesLV is the place where the conversations about the “Next Big Thing” happen first.

This year, BSidesLV will consist of four main speaking tracks, one math track, and one workshop track. We’re also teaming up with PasswordsCon. They will be co-locating with us, bringing you 2-for-1 conference action – all for the low, low price of FREE!!

Thanks to everyone that made it happen, we hit 158% of our goal on our Indie-Go-Go Campaign!

We have NO TOLERANCE for physical/verbal/sexual Harassment! Our “Code of Conduct” is “Be Excellent to each other” AKA the Golden Rule. In case that’s failing, it’s “Don’t be an Ass,** or we’ll kick your ass out!” Asking questions of a speaker during their talk, to get clarity or debate a point is NOT being an ass – heckling or haranguing the speaker IS. If you’re not sure, ask, or err on the side of basic decency and common courtesy. If what they’re doing wouldn’t be acceptable to have done to you, your sister, niece, daughter, brother, nephew, son, mother, father, or any human being, don’t let them treat anyone else that way – whether you know them or not.

**Staff reserves the right to determine what constitutes “Being an Ass”.
