I am a threat researcher at Palo Alto Networks focused on systems, networks and firmware security. I work on malware detection tools, dynamic analysis of suspicious samples, reverse engineering, understanding kernel, hypervisor and firmware concepts for improved Advanced Persistent Threat (APT). Before Palo Alto Networks, I worked with a SDN startup focusing on DDoS defense vectors. I was a graduate student at UPenn from 2011 – 2013. As a part of my Master’s thesis, I also worked on modifying Android’s security model to implement dynamic user permissions.
