I emailed sponsors@bsideslv.org a couple of days ago and haven’t heard back, should I be worried?
Responses may be delayed and occur outside of normal working hours. We are a team of volunteers and need to coordinate BSides work around our day jobs. We apologize for any delays and appreciate your patience!

What are the attendee numbers for BSidesLV so I know how many swag items to send?
We’re planning for around 3,000 attendees over the course of two days.
Are you able to tell me the attendee names, demographics, or company names?
We don’t collect this information from our participants. Any “leads” are generated by folks coming to your booth and providing information or business cards directly to you. We respect our participants’ privacy and never collect information during registration. We can say we get a good cross section of researchers, analysts, executives, C-levels, students and infosec enthusiasts.
Can attendee information be collected at our company’s booth?
Yes, if your sponsorship comes with a booth you may ask attendees for their contact information. Sponsors are responsible for supplying their own means of collection. Please be respectful and remember attendees have the right to decline to provide their info.
What are the table sizes?
Two 6′ tables (in an ‘L’ shape) for Diamond, one 8′ table for Gold, and one 6′ table for Silver
Are there restrictions for the booth setup?
Yes, there are some restrictions for table setup. Floor signs are allowed behind the table or on top of the table, but not in front of it or to the side. Please do not bring signage or other props that extend beyond the length of your table as the space can be very tight! We suggest sponsors do not sit or stand behind the table to maximize attendee interaction.
Are there any swag restrictions?
Yes, poker chips are not allowed as swag for registration bags, table swag, or event swag.
Where should items be shipped?
You can ship directly to our storage facility, but all items must arrive by Friday, August 4th. Anything arriving after that will not be transported to the event in time. We will provide the shipping address to sponsors by separate email.
IMPORTANT: To ensure delivery, please make sure to include the following on the packing slip and somewhere visible on each box:
ATTN: [YOUR COMPANY NAME] – if it is destined for your Sponsor table (Diamond, Gold, and Silver table sponsors (any items), Bronze (floor signs only))
ATTN: BSLV Raffle – [YOUR COMPANY NAME] – if its destination is the Silent Auction table (all sponsors)
You are more than welcome to ship directly to the Tuscany, but you are responsible for any pick up, storage or handling fees, and shipping costs. Also, please understand that if you ship to Tuscany, we cannot confirm delivery for you.

How can we have our booth items shipped back?
Please note that BSidesLV does not coordinate outbound shipping needs. Your onsite staff can make accommodations directly with the Tuscany to ship any items out. There are also UPS and Fedex stores in the general vicinity of the Tuscany. Any items left behind will be considered abandoned.
What is the dress code?
It is generally casual. Mostly t-shirts and jeans, with a smattering of polo shirts and slacks and a few suits.
How will we find our table?
All sponsor tables are in the front half of Middle Ground (Florentine C/D). The tables will be labeled with your organization’s name prior to your arrival.
When and where does setup take place?
Sponsors can access the event space early at the following times: Monday from 15:00 to 18:00
Tuesday and Wednesday from 07:30 to 08:30
Set-up will be in Middle Ground (Florentine C/D), in the main area of the conference center.
What are the times that our booth will need to be staffed?
Your table should be staffed during the entirety of the event – 08:30 to 19:00 Tuesday and Wednesday. We understand that events overlap during this busy week, but it may reflect poorly on your organization to have an empty table among other staffed tables.
Are there times when the booth will be busiest?
Historically, it is a fairly constant flow. Middle Ground is the hub of BSidesLV. People pass through multiple times during the day and it is a focus of socializing and networking.
Can BSides store my company’s items during the conference itself?
No, we do not have the space to store items during the event. There is some space beneath each table, but we recommend your representatives use their hotel rooms for storage (just as we do ourselves).
Will we have electrical connection and wireless access?
Yes, there will be power to each table WiFi will be available throughout the conference space. There will be multiple wireless networks, including a dedicated WLAN for Sponsors.

If I have a sponsors badge will I need a to purchase a participant badge to attend talks or HireGround?
No, you will not need to purchase an additional participant badge. Your sponsor badge allows you to attend all talks, HireGround, and evening activities.
Is lunch provided by BSides Las Vegas?
Yes, there is a buffet style lunch available to those with a sponsor badge. Lunch is from 12:30pm - 2:00pm, each day of the conference, in the back of Middle Ground (Florentine C/D).
Is there a BSides Las Vegas logo available for co-branding?
Yes! We have Hi-Res versions of all our logos available for co-branding. The generic BSides Las Vegas logo can always be found at this link. Please contact the sponsor team directly for the logos that change each year.
