Career coaches are established community professionals who will give you honest commentary on what to look for next in your career or help you strategize how to overcome certain challenges.

  • Will Baggett Tuesday
    Will Baggett is the Director of Digital Forensics at Operation Safe Escape (volunteer role), a non-profit organization providing assistance to victims of domestic abuse. Will draws from his experience as a former CIA officer specializing in Technical and HUMINT Operations as well as a NATO SOF Cyber Security SME. His experience in the cyber industry covers the gamut from Y2k compliance to Log4J mitigation. He looks forward to assisting members of the BSides Las Vegas community with planning their next steps on their career path.

  • Owen Wright Wednesday
    During my career so far, I have overseen and delivered complex and innovative penetration tests and red team exercises in a variety of business-critical environments. I have applied this experience to help develop and launch new and innovative testing services, including some of the first large-scale modern red team exercises in the UK. My expertise is based on a solid foundation as a technical practitioner, performing penetration testing and red teaming, and I retain my technical knowledge by being a hands-on leader to my team, as well as keeping abreast of the latest developments in policy and technical offensive security.

  • Kirsten Renner Tuesday & Wednesday
    Best known in the community for her role in co-founding and organizing the Car Hacking Village, Kirsten can be found at many conferences and events throughout the year speaking and volunteering. She settled into technical recruiting after briefly working on a helpdesk over twenty years ago. She is currently serving as a Talent Engagement Lead at Accenture Federal Services, who acquired Novetta, where she was the Director of Recruiting for 6 years. Kirsten is always open to helping those who reach out!

    Kris Rides is the President of Americas for Via Resource - a Cybersecurity Staffing company, and the Founder of Tiro Security - a Cybersecurity professional services firm. He is one of the original founding Board Members of the Southern California Cloud Security Alliance Chapter, the previous President, and an honorary board member. He chairs the Industry advisory board for the National Cybersecurity Training & Education Center (NCYTE) and is an advisory board member to The Cyber Helpine, Washington States Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence, as well as for the non-profit; GRC for Intelligent Ecosystems (GRCIE).
